Add the ramen oil BEFORE cooking the noodles, not after.
This makes all the difference between a vegan ramen that tastes like an authentic bowl of tonkotsu broth and a vegan ramen that is good, but not mouth-wateringly ICHIRAN ramen level of good.
What You Get:
- Vegan Soup Concentrate: soy milk-based broth flavored with sesame, shiitake, garlic and other vegetables that create a savory, tonkotsu-flavored broth.
- Ramen Oil: Must add as FIRST step! Flavored with shallots, garlic, and ginger. The emulsification effect that happens when it is added in the first step of the cooking process creates the same rich texture and flavor profile as a home-made bowl of tonkotsu ramen.
- Hakata-style Thin Straight Noodles: silky smooth, dried noodles with a chewy bite designed to release less starch. It creates a clear base that brings out the flavors of the soup concentrate and ramen oil.
- Original Spicy Red Seasoning: a blend of tonogarashi chili peppers to add a bit of heat to your ramen.

Hakata Thin Straight Noodles
Smooth, chewy noodles that are so easy to slurp.
These noodles are designed to release less starch when cooked so it creates a clear base for the soup concentrate that enhances the soup’s flavor.
Vegan Tonkotsu Soup Concentrate
A liquid, soy milk-based soup concentrate flavored with sesame, garlic, shiitake and other vegetables.
When it emulsifies with the Ramen Oil, it creates a savory broth with the same flavor profile as our original tonkotsu ramen kit.
Ramen Oil
The ramen oil is the not-so-secret ingredient in this vegan ramen kit. It creates a tonkotsu-like, savory texture and flavor through the emulsification effect that occurs when the oil, noodles, and soup concentrate come together.
The flavor effect only happens when the oil is added BEFORE the noodles in the cooking process. Miss this step and the ramen will have a completely different flavor.
Original Spicy Red Seasoning
A variety of togarashi peppers were selected for their quality and taste to make this unique spice blend.
Created after testing dozens of pepper combinations, our seasoning has a balance of both heat and flavor that complement our vegan ramen.
