Hakata Thin Straight Noodles
Smooth, chewy noodles that are so easy to slurp. These noodles are designed to release less starch when cooked so it creates a clear base for the soup concentrate that enhances the soup’s flavor.
Vegan Tonkotsu Soup Concentrate
A liquid, soy milk-based soup concentrate flavored with sesame, garlic, shiitake and other vegetables. When it emulsifies with the Ramen Oil, it creates a savory broth with the same flavor profile as our original tonkotsu ramen kit.
Ramen Oil
The ramen oil is the not-so-secret ingredient in this vegan ramen kit. It creates a tonkotsu-like, savory texture and flavor through the emulsification effect that occurs when the oil, noodles, and soup concentrate come together. The flavor effect only happens when the oil is added BEFORE the noodles in the cooking process. Miss this step and the ramen will have a completely different flavor.
Original Spicy Red Seasoning
A variety of togarashi peppers were selected for their quality and taste to make this unique spice blend. Created after testing dozens of pepper combinations, our seasoning has a balance of both heat and flavor that complement our vegan ramen.
Vegan Ramen Kit
ICHIRAN's first plant-based ramen kit is a savory tonkotsu-flavored ramen featuring soy milk, cabbage, and shiitake.

Insanely delicious noodles!
This is most definitely a meal to judge at completion rather than as you add the parts. Theres a seasoning oil which comes out a very creamy white and the soup packet that comes out in as pasty green but when you mix them all together this is one phenomenal tasting meal. The directions are extremely easy to follow and you'll have a hearty meal afterwards They split everything into 2 packets so there's no guess work in each serving of how much to add. Also the heat packets, which they even state in the directions, are super hot. Apply very little at first and test it out, with just a quarter of one of the packets I was plenty happy with the heat I got from it. The whole meal is delicious and the texture was phenomenal.
it’s worth the money
this is not your typical Ramen. This is made by a world famous restaurant in Japan and this happens to also be a vegan broth. I’m not vegan, but I do appreciate eating vegan food and this is something that even meat eaters should not shy away from. tonkatsu is more of a creamy base and this Ramen does have a lovely creamy base. It doesn’t really taste like pork, but it truly has a richness and smoothness to it. That makes me forget that I am not eating a pork based soup. You can eat the Ramen on its own, but I prefer to dress it up with some steamed bok choy, an egg, some nori, sweet canned corn kernels, Bamboo shoots, and a little bit of chili paste. You can omit the egg if you’re vegan.
The taste is absolutely wonderful and this does provide for two servings. It may seem expensive, but this is quality noodles and quality broth.
Extremely flavorful and a delight to eat! Closest you're gonna get to scratch-made, in my opinion
I'd heard good things of Ichiran's ramen kits and this didn't disappoint. Though Vegan, the broth in this was very rich, savory and had that slightly creamy and unctuousness to it that you'd expect out of a simmered meat broth. The oil was very flavorful and aromatic from garlic, shallots and ginger. The togarashi powder added that little bit of zip to it with a slight fruity and bright acidic note. The noodles, thin and straight, but dense and chewy as long as you don't overcook them. I didn't want to taste this with too many extra ingredients that wouldn't give me a true sense of the flavor, so I limited it to the togarashi packet and some green onions, but this would be great with fried shallots, mushrooms, cabbage or sprouts. You do only get two servings in this, but the quality is fantastic and I found it to be very much worth it and good value.
